Bio

Weronika Dyląg, born in 1987 in Nakło nad Notecią, is a visual artist who lives and creates in Warsaw. Her work is deeply rooted in abstraction, characterized by intense colors and unique painting techniques. In her pieces, Weronika often uses acrylics and oils, blending them with air through the “blow painting” technique, which gives her works an ethereal and unpredictable form.

Dyląg draws inspiration from psychology, social interactions, and the works of artists like Chuang Che and Helen Frankenthaler, influencing her bold color compositions. Through her paintings, she aims to prompt viewers to reflect on their own emotions and inner thoughts, creating art that balances between order and chaos.

Weronika regularly participates in solo and group exhibitions both in Poland and abroad. In her latest series, “Balanced Chaos,” the artist explores the unpredictability of life and nature through painting, which is evident in works such as “Dissolution” and “Storm.”

Artist statement

Weronika Dyląg is an artist whose work balances between abstraction and introspection. Known for working with acrylics and the “action painting” technique, Dyląg creates paintings that are delicate, ethereal, yet full of energy and emotion. Her works often explore concepts of chaos and order, as well as the emotional states born from these opposing forces. She uses fluid paints, which she controls with air, allowing unpredictable effects to become an integral part of her compositions.

Dyląg draws inspiration from masters such as Chuang Che and Helen Frankenthaler, evident in her approach to colour and form. However, her works possess a distinct, recognizable character, where minimalism and subtle colour gradients create an atmosphere of reflection and calm. The artist is interested in psychology and emotional states, making her art more than just a visual experience—it is also a journey into the emotions of the viewer.

In her latest series, “Balanced Chaos,” Weronika explores the unpredictability of life and our reactions to moments of chaos. Paintings such as “Dissolution” and “Storm” invite the viewer to question and introspect, showing that chaos does not always have to be destructive—in fact, it can be the key to a fuller life.
Her work has been showcased in numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad, each offering a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in a world of subtle forms, colours, and reflections on our own reality.
